Doctor's appt and such

Today was Claire's first official doctor's appointment. The goal is for her to be back to her birth weight by the time she is two weeks and she was 8 lbs 2 oz, up from her birth weight of 7lbs 7oz. She has already grown an inch and a half as well. No wonder she sleeps all of the time! She is changing so much already and growing out of all of her newborn clothes. She is starting to be much more awake, and following toys and sounds.



Here are a few cute pics of Claire sleeping and making such cute little faces yesterday. I even caught half of a smile.




Last night was Claire's first real bath in a baby bathtub. She actually seemed to really enjoy it which surprised all of us.


Here is a three generation picture of Mom, Claire and I. We hope to get a four generation picture when we visit Wisconsin over the 4th of July where my grandma (and all of my extended family on Mom's side) will get to meet Claire for the first time.
