Homemade Donuts

A very dear friend of mine, and fellow blogger, happened to send me an early birthday present when my mom came to visit this week. In it, she gave a recipe for homemade donuts as well as a donut cutter (like a cookie cutter with a hole in the middle). I just happened to have the weekend off and my mom in the house, so it seemed a perfect time to try out the recipe. Here are step by step pictures of how we did it and the mess we made. All of the donuts are now eaten, and the project was a success.
