Today we took the boys to a summer festival dedicated to dogs in a small town near Dayton. The community pools were closed to the public and opened to dogs only. There were also lots of areas for the dogs to run and play together. The boys had so much fun! They both loved the shallow kiddie pool but got a little confused and tried to jump in the big pool too. I had to fish them out again immediately since they don't swim well at all. They were at least able to get their heads above water after coming up from the bottom. I was a bit concerned that I would have to jump in after them, but all was well. We ended the event with a trip to the doggie ice cream stand and then headed home to air conditioning and a nap. Of course I forgot my camera, but you can imagine two very happy soaking wet boxers running around with several hundred other dogs and their owners. I did find a few pictures on the internet.
