4th of July

We actually had two 4th of July celebrations this year. The last weekend in June was the Air Force Museum "Tattoo" where there was a little air show and then fire works display. The hit of the show is always the F-22 raptor which was so amazing. I also thought the B-2 bomber was pretty cool as well. We had walked to the museum lawn with some friends and neighbors. Claire didn't mind the noise from the planes or the fireworks. Such a good baby. Then we walked back to our place and had smores cooked over our fire pit and we played with sparklers.

The actual 4th of July we spent with my mom's family in Wisconsin at a camp out. My mom was just glowing being able to show off her granddaughter to her mom and sisters. Claire performed very nicely for her grandma- cooing and smiling to entertain everyone. I thought she looked cute hidden away in her stroller covered with mosquito netting- a must for the particularly large and evil Wisconsin mosquitoes. When we were driving back to my grandma's house in Appleton that night we saw about 8 fireworks shows all happening at once in the little towns that are on the outskirts of Appleton. Very fun.
